Evans Petree PC Shareholder Caren B. Nichol has been selected as a finalist in the Memphis Business Journal’s inaugural Best of the Bar Awards, in the Private Firm- Large category. The Best of the Bar Awards honors the top legal minds in the Memphis area.
As a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and former chair of the Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Nichol’s litigation practice consists of a unique combination of commercial litigation, family law, and appellate practice.
Ms. Nichol received the Sam A. Myar, Jr. Memorial Award for service to the community and the Bar Association, and she was recently named a Family Law Power Player in MBQ Magazine. She is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016 in the field of Commercial Litigation for the fourth year, is listed as a Super Lawyer in the area of Family Law, and is listed by Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 Women Lawyers in the Mid-South.
Best of the Bar finalists were selected from nominees based on legal excellence in service to their firm, organization or company; service to their profession; and community involvement.
