McKinnon and Wells Admitted as Shareholders

Andrea M. McKinnon joined Evans Petree as an associate in the property tax practice area in May 2008. Andrea focuses her practice exclusively in the area of property tax law, representing taxpayers in administrative and judicial appeals of property tax assessments. She concentrates her practice on property tax appeals of multifamily, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as commercial and industrial personal property. In addition to the valuation side of her practice, she has developed an expertise in the legal and procedural issues surrounding real and personal property tax appeals. She is a 2003 graduate of the University of Mississippi and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2008. Andrea was admitted to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi in 2008. She is a member of the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Memphis Bar Associations.

Julie J. Wells joined Evans Petree as an associate in corporate, health care, and private client practice areas in January 2014. Her practice, though focused in health care law and general corporate matters, also includes business and commercial transactions and private client services, including drafting and reviewing contracts, company restructuring, employment work, and business acquisitions. Having extensive experience working with multi-specialty physician practices, Julie understands the regulatory and transactional components as well as the operational issues related to the medical practice and health care industry. Julie works primarily in Evans Petree’s Oxford office. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of Mississippi and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi in 2007. Julie was admitted to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi in 2007. She is a member of the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association.
