The Shelby County Assessor is reappraising all property for 2017. Since the last reappraisal reflected Great Recession values, and the market has strengthened in the last four years, property owners are experiencing “sticker shock” as they receive their Reappraisal Notices.
The Assessor has already sent out most residential notices. The final notices, including commercial property, will be sent out on April 20th.
